Subaru Impreza Sti
Subaru Impreza STI was formerly known as WRX STI. It was officially altered in the year 2007 to STI and is the standard-edition trim in the line-up, produced by Subaru- Japanese automaker.

After getting more popular, Subaru has started introducing vehicles like Subaru Impreza WRX with turbocharged boxer engine and all-wheel drive system.
Impreza STI- First generation

The first generation vehicles were produced between 1992 and 2000. You can find six versions under first generation. Various versions in the lineup are marketed with consecutive numbers. GC chassis version of RS trim was released in the year 2011. JDM STI Coupe comes with GC8 code. STI coupe has GC82DD code that represents 2-door vehicle.
Impreza STI – Second generation
In the year 2000, Impreza received complete update- the chassis was stiffened and it also had 120% torsional stiffness; it has gained 17″ x 7.5″ alloy wheels. Five-speed manual transmission in the vehicle was changed to 6-speed manual transmission.

STI comes with foglight covers and larger hood scoops with STI embossed. DCCD is updated; therefore, working with anti-lock brakes is pretty easy. While braking, as well as ABS under “on” condition, the DCCD is set to open mode.
Impreza STI -Third Generation
2008 STI receives higher degree parts for differentiating STI from Impreza WRX brethren.
Third generation STI uses suspension components made of aluminum; it also has dissimilar fenders, which are 2.2 inches wider. It adopts Dynamic Chassis Control Concept and Subaru Intelligent Chassis Design.

The latest US model is powered by a 305 bhp engine that can also generate 290 ft-lb of torque. Depending on the standard features included, the price range of the vehicle is decided. It is in the range of $35,640 to $39,440.
